“The people have spoken, and the anti-scarf party got a thumpin, ” …such was the update in Sunday’s Tribune.  Last week they reported that the Man Law on scarf wearing was…no scarf, thank you please… but they just had to set the record straight after seeing the voting results of their online poll which tallies up a win for men in scarves…2,382 pro scarf and 797 anti scarf.  Without regard to anyone’s thoughts on the issue I knit on and finished a lovely Jaeger Matchmaker Aran scarf for my son to keep him warm at school.  I used the three skeins from my stash in this lovely navy blue that I bought from Knit Picks oh so long ago.  I love stash reductions almost as much as finished objects.  And I knit it up in my favorite “mistake rib” pattern, the same one I used for the Briar Rose scarf using a size US 8 needle.
