An Apple A Day
These little apple hats are such a quick knit that you really could knit an apple hat a day. I used some Plymouth Encore from the stash to knit this baby shower gift…just a little something cute to go with the blanket.

Is anyone still here or have they all gone off to the Sock Summit 2009? I feel like I am really missing out on a really good time in Oregon this weekend. I don’t need any more sock yarn…but then that is never at issue. You can always add more sock yarn to your stash without much of a guilt factor. I bought a fabulous sock pattern while visiting my ‘rents in LA. I plan to start on it shortly and hopefully it’ll ease my Sock Summit envy. This sock I will be knitting will most definitely be taking sock knitting “almost too far”. Trust me when I say you won’t believe it until you see it. I already had some yarn in the stash from now de-funked Inspirations Yarn…it’s special yarn, that I love and that is no longer available… the perfect yarn choice for this project. I’d really like to have these completed before I head to camp in October so pictures will be forth coming but only after I knit up a few chemo caps for a very dear friend.
I wanted to get cracking on the caps but I’ve been stalled until I drag myself to a yarn shop. It seems I am absent a 16″ circular size 7, how this is possible I have no clue. I am going to start close to home today and check out Zora’s and see if they have anything left. If I have to go further then I may pop into my fave Wool & Company…but the problem is they are at Sock Summit 2009 and this will remind me of the envy and I may end up “treating” myself to yarn as a pacifier. Not good!
