August Knitting
I have a few items to share. I finished a washcloth gift for a coworker and two chemo caps for a very dear friend. For the washcloth I used the Peaches & Cream from that big name discount retailer…hey it’s the only thing I buy there….and…for the caps I used some stashed Berocco Chinchilla and some purchased Rowan All Seasons Cotton.

Yesterday my eldest purchased his first car as he begins his adult life in the workforce. In celebration of this milestone I made him a special pancake breakfast this morning.

He enjoyed it, the silly smile he gave when he saw his plate was worth the bit of effort. I totally love doing stuff like that anyway and I am always looking for an excuse. BTW Don’t you love my plates? I had this Denby stoneware pattern “Avignon” in my Hopeless Chest well before I even met my husband. After all these years it still looks great and I still love using it. Those were pennies well spent I say! I wish all my purchases would be like that….sigh.
